Organizational Structure
Asasah has developed a simple but effective organizational structure which has been working successfully ever since its inception. Organizational structure of Asasah today includes a Board of Directors (BOD), headed by a chairman, and consisting of six members including an observer director. BOD members possess diversity of skills, including financial, social and managerial expertise, to lead the organization by advising senior management on key issues and to critically analyze management's plans and reports. In addition to this, all policy matters are endorsed by the BOD. However, key decisions are taken by the Chief Executive Officer in consultation with the BOD.

Mr. Babar Aziz - Chairperson He has over 24 years of experience in financial and grants management (including sub-grants & sub-contracts), risk identification and management, supply-chain management, IT management, security management, procurement & logistics management and government liaison in national & international environments. |

Mr. Anwar Rashid - Director Being an associate of Dr. Akhter Hameed, he is the pioneer of Social development sector in Pakistan. Besides currently holding the position of Director in the BOD he is working as a visiting faculty member at LUMS, NIPA, K.U and adviser & member of various development institutions (e.g. ADO, SRSP, CDN, OPE etc). |

Mr. Iftikhar Qureshi - Director He is a Director in the BOD and has over 25 years of experience in management, human resource development and marketing in corporate sector. |

Ms. Ambreen Imran - Director She is a business development expert and experienced in running a software house. |

Ms. Tabinda Jaffery She is the Chief Executive Officer having 15 years of practical experience in Micro Finance Sector, besides her lifelong involvement in social development programs on both national and district levels. She chairs Audit Committee of the BOD of Pakistan Microfinance Network (PMN). She is an acknowledged trainer and consultant. |

Ms. Zareen Aamir She is heading Microfinance Program with the 14 years’ practical experience at grass root level in the community. She did her MBA (Finance) and completed her four years CA Articles. Further she attended the Microfinance Boulder Course in Italy, SAM in Kenya and Strategic Leadership for Microfinance Leader in Howard Business School USA. She has been delivery the Microfinance courses in different academic institutions. She is determined to bring radical changes in the community by uplifting their living standard and quality of life. |
